Dam construction

Workers and forms for this enormous project, and this is something for Phil's front yard. But it was a glorious adventure.

More construction on the dam

Almost ready to pour. Forms go way down here, like 20+ feet, it will take a huge volume of cement.

Swiming in the new pond

First swim in the new pond, between 8 and 15 acres (hard to estimate) and cold, cold, clod. The stream that feeds this pond comes right down off of Frost Mtn.

Cement mixer

Trucks could not make it though the woods so a portable mixer was used, not a really great thing given the amount. Here it looks like there might be a problem.
